Japanese Serissa (Green Leaf) Serissa - japonicum in 4" pot is a tropical to sub-tropical plant. It can be prone to suckering but it's over-all usefulness out-weighs this maintenance issue given its' miniature green leaves and strongly striated bark. This plant reacts well to frequent pruning during the growing season and it produces small white star shaped flowers randomly throughout the seasons. It's best to wire these plants early on while the branch is tender and flexible. Older, thicker branching can be easily snapped during the wiring and shaping process. Serissa is also great for creating exposed root trees.
